Plan to attend Spooner Chamber's 6th Annual Wine Tasting

This annual event will be held on Thursday, April 25, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Spooner Ice House banquet hall.  It always attracts a huge crowd of 300 to 400 to the Grand Ballroom.  This year promises to be even bigger since Spooner Ice House Owner, Lars Geary, plans to open the halls for extra exhibits and tables.

 

Participating restaurants this year are Jerseys Banquets and Event Center, Nick's Family Restaurant, Schmitz's Economart, Foxxy's Bar and Grill, Heartwood Conference Center and Retreat, Voyager Village, and Pair O' Lakes.  This year Geary also will include a few of the craft beers featured at Jerseys.

 

As everyone mills about tasting the food and sipping the beverages, there will be an occasional raffle announcement and auctions.  A portion of the proceeds benefits a couple of area non-profit organizations
