Since we haven’t had Ice Out on
Lipsett Lake yet and as of last Monday the ice thickness was almost 3 ft, no one
knows for sure if there will be a fishing opener on Lipsett Lake this year --
Bob Baker and the Board are asking anyone who would be available to monitor the
boat landing on May 4 and/or 5 to sign up on an “on-call” basis.
Bob also
believes that, if the ice isn’t out for the fishing opener, the following
weekend (May 11 and 12) will be especially busy and we will need volunteers for
that weekend as well.
I have added these two weekends in the first column
of the sign-up sheet. If you can help, just type in your name and phone number
by the day and time you would be able to volunteer. Bob will call you to let
you know if the ice is out and if he needs you to volunteer.
