2014 Lipsett Lake Association Snowmobile Ride

Despite temperatures below 0, the Lake Association ride went on as planned.  We originally had 14 riders that were going to attend, but we ended up with 6; Scott and LeeAnn Lundgren, Ken and Kevin Dacas, Frank Hull and Mark Spease.  The cold ended up not being a factor and the company was great, with many of us meeting each other for the first time!
The ride started with a short ride over to Mallard Lake Resort and some hot chocolate and coffee.  From there we headed to Voyager Village for a quick stop and then up to Rosenthal's Resort for lunch.  After lunch we got some gas in Webb Lake and then made a stop at The Shop before making our way back to Lipsett Lake.
We ended up with almost 80 miles and lots of smiles as the trails hardly had a bump in them.  Weather permitting, we will give this a try again next year but will hope for warmer temps.

  2. Mark...thank you for setting up this ride. Everyone had a great time! Also, anyone who rides on the Burnett County trails should thank Mark for all of his hard work. Mark normally grooms these trails once or twice a week. Thanks again Mark!
