We don't actually promote local events, but I do like to keep people informed about things that are happening in the area and this sounds like something that a lot of the people on the lake might enjoy, so I thought I would at least mention it to you.

It looks like they have a lot of good entertainment lined up.
They had 1,000 people attend last year for a one-day festival -- and that was the day of the Rodeo Parade!! This year they won't be competing with the Rodeo Parade and it's a two-day festival so they are expecting two to three times that many people to attend. Might be something to think about if you're having guests up for the weekend. On the other hand, if you don't like crowds, it might not be the best place for you.
