2012 Lake Clean Up

I didn't get any pictures of the work being done,

but you can see the resultts of volunteers who

picked up the littler thrown out of cars along the

roads around Lipsett Lake.

Lake Clean-Up Day is an annual event in conjunction with Earth Day.

The Clean-Up Day is organized and

 sponsored by the

McKenzie Lakes Association.

The litter was taken to McKenzie Landing and loaded

into a dumpster paid for by McKenzie and Lipsett Lakes

Associations.

The some of the volunteers enjoyed the company

of friends at a hamburger luncheon

provided by George and Terry Kuechle,

owners of McKenzie Landing.

Thanks to all the volunteers who helped.

The roads look great!
