Not sure how many people have been up to their places but here are a few things.
The snowmobile trails are officially closed till next year even if we get another snowfall. We had a chance to take ONE ride this past Saturday. There were a few sleds out but not many.
Some people were out fishing on Saturday and Sunday. Sounds like the Crappies are biting. I drilled down through and the ice was about 2 1/2 to 3 feet thick. I am not sure how long the ice will be safe as I talked to our neighbor and the lake already has a layer of water on it. I would guess that we will have an early ice out this year.
Webb Lake has their annual St. Patricks Day parade this weekend, March 14th at 1:00. If you have not been, it is quite a bit of fun and great people watching. About 2-3,000 people pack the small parade route. The parade lasts about 30 minutes.
