Obituary

Jean Ruth Christner was born in the Town of Rusk, Burnett County, on March 28, 1928 to parents Joe and Margaret (Kimball) Christner. She was married in Pine City, MN to Russell Brede on September 8, 1947. He preceded her in death in 1986. She worked at the Spooner Hospital and ran "Rest A While" Resort for 56 years. She was a member of the Lipsett Lake Association for 50 years.

Jean R. Brede died on Sunday, December 11, 2011, at the Lakeview Medical Center in Rice Lake at the age of 83.

She is survived by her daughter Sharon Adams, son Roger Brede, sister Doris Perry, brother Winton Christner, 3 grandkids, and 7 great grandkids.

The Funeral Service will be at Dahl Funeral Home

There will be a visitation  at 4 PM until 7 PM on Wednesday, December 14.

The funeral will be on n Thursday, December 15 at 11:00 AM. There will be a visitation for one hour before the service.
