The Lipsett Lake Association Annual Meeting will be held on Saturday, September 3 at Lipsett Pines Tavern. The meeting begins at 8:30 a.m. with donuts and coffee and a chance to visit with your neighbors. The meeting begins at 9:00 a.m.
The agenda will include a report from the President, committee reports, plenty of time for questions and answers, and a vote for new board members.
The Nominating committee, Sally Nelsen and Jonathon Huth, will present the following slate of officers for consideration:
Nominees and the offices for which they are to be nominated are:
Charlie Edwards, Vice President--2 years
Tim Beardon, secretary--2 years
Linda Beal--director--3 years (2014)
Other officers who continue in office:
Greg Heber, President --term expires in 2012
Doris Perry, Treasurer-- 2012
Sally Nelsen, Director--2012
Doug Mulville, director--2013
Directors can serve only 1 term but others may be reelected. Thus Bob Baker will be leaving the board as a director but will continue on with his work on the lake committee.
On behalf of the membership, Jon and Sally thank all who have consented to have their names placed in nomination (Charlie, Tim and Linda), those who continue in office ( Greg, Doris and Sally) and out-going director (Bob). We are doing good things and will always need new and interested people to continue moving forward. Your willingness is appreciated!
