Fundraising Committee Report

Currently there are 6 official members on the Committee:

I know several other people have offered to participate in the fund raising committee but may not be on the above list. Since most of the communication will be via e-mail or phone, I will need both e-mail addresses and phone numbers of people that would like to participate. Contact me at tanya.ives@philips.com or cell phone #612.554.0570 if you would like to join this committee. This will be a fun and easy way to help make a difference in our lake community. Emphasis on the "FUN"!!!



Previous Fund Raising Events:

1. Dock In, Held on , Raised $ 480.00

2. 50/50 Raffle, Held During the Corn and Brat Feed, Raised $ 280.00



Current Fund Raising events:

1. Lipsett Lake Calendar -

· We currently have 43 photos submitted, Deadline for photo submission is Oct.4th. Please submit photos to Pam Loftus at pkloftus@centurytel.net. Photos can currently be viewed on the Lipsett Lake Association Blog at http://lipsettlakeassociation.blogspot.com/. Thank you Pam for all you hard work on this blog. If you haven't had a chance to check out the blog….please do. It is filled with fantastic information regarding all the activities occurring with in our lake community!!

· Photos will be judged by the Fund Raising Committee.

· Calendars will be available for purchase at the Holiday Party on 12/4/2010 for $20. If you will not be able to attend the Holiday Party you can also order calendars by contacting me via e-mail at tanya.ives@philips.com or cell phone at (612) 554-0570. The price will be the $20 plus shipping.

2. Dock Out -

· Dock Out dates will be 9/25 and 10/16.

· We had a wonderful response to the dock in fund raiser and expect to have an even greater demand for dock out so there is a sign up sheet available at the meeting today or you can sign up by contacting me via e-mail at tanya.ives@philips.com or cell phone at (612) 554-0570. So we can prepare appropriately, we will need people to sign up by 9/18.

· Cost = 2 dollars per foot and $50 per lift. Owners will need to be present during the dock removable and we will contact you to set up the time prior to you dock out date.

· Remember this is a great way to put money back into the lake association! Essentially you are paying yourself!!

· Currently there are numerous people who have already volunteered to help with this fund raiser….thank you to all of you! But we still need more, so if you are willing to help, please put your name on the list up front. If you need some incentive….there will be a volunteer appreciation celebration afterward!!
